Australia, Sex, Bond*age and Goof ups.. ;)

Australia began their New Zealand tour with verbal bloopers from coach Tim Nielsen and Twenty20 captain Michael Clarke that left the entire team red-faced.

Coach Tim Nielsen started the proceedings soon after his arrival at the airport, saying "To be honest, we haven't had a lot of sex, um, success over here."

And once he was through with the interaction, the Australia coach had a humble request to make, although it looked like the local media was in no mood to oblige him. "Could you please remove the sex bit, I don't want my wife hearing that," Nielsen said.

A day after Nielsen's goof-up, it was Clarke who had a slip of tongue Feb 27th.

Talking about New Zealand pacer Shane Bond, Clarke said that he was still a threat and his teammates would have to do a lot of homework to counter him. "We'll have a good look at the footage of bond*age...I mean, Bondy," said Clarke, triggering laughter.

"I feel like the coach, what's going on," Clarke was quoted later on.

Even though Clarke restructured the sentence and delivered it again, he realized that the damage had been done. "Front page, I can see it now...," Clarke sighed as he made a hasty exit.
